♣ Concern. This is a measure of how regularly Kanaya worries about your continued well-being. It is a somewhat lukewarm phenomenon, neither entirely fond nor entirely disapproving, and more of an attachment than an actual emotion. Consummate manifestation, when accompanied by nothing else, is the will to auspisticize when the situation arises.
✔ Fondness. This is a measure of how positively Kanaya feels due to your interactions. These checkmarks are rather rare, as due to Kanaya's personality they are usually accompanied by concern, where they metamorphose into affection.
♦ Affection. A combination of fondness and concern. Bare minimum is a modicum of fond-appearing meddling, also known as platonic pity. Consummate manifestation is pale love.
♥ Infatuation. A combination of fondness and attraction. Bare minimum is beauty and charm worthy of consideration if the Imperial Drone rolled around. Consummate manifestation is flushed love.
♠ Captivation. A combination of disapproval and attraction. Bare minimum is some feeling of friction... enough to be worthy of consideration if the Imperial Drone rolled around. Consummate manifestation is in caliginous hate.
✘ Disapproval. This is a measure of how negatively Kanaya feels due to your interactions. Also known as platonic hate. A very unsafe emotion for Kanaya to be experiencing, as her options for kismeses are limited and she generally is more likely to become an auspistice than be auspisticized. Hence the consummate manifestation is actually the will to kill this person.
Special cases: Blue sets of eight are reserved for an official unequivocal emotion; sets of nine are reserved for official mutual relationships.

✔✔✔✔✔✔♥♥	Roxy Lalonde is the Rogue of Void, a charming champion against casual spoilers, and has become Kanaya's best friend. There are a lot of reasons their close relationship is platonic, but the facts that Roxy is dating Eridan and probably heterosexual leave the others behind by a country mile.
✔✔♦♦♦♦♦	Sollux Captor is Kanaya's best pityfriend among the trolls. He is also her #2 source of blood after Gamzee. But he doesn't want to see the race restored, which has pretty much pumped their friendship full of lead.
✔✔✔✔♦♦♦♦	Karkat Vantas was Kanaya's best friend during the game of SBURB, but after a year's separation he returned as Gamzee's moirail, then disappeared. Now he's back with neither pupils in his eyes nor pale romance on his mind, which has brought back Kanaya's suppressed urges to tuck him into bed and feed him warm soup until he no longer has a single ulcer.
✔✔♦♦♦♥♥	Utena Tenjou has been Kanaya's roommate for half an Earth year, leading her to strongly value the girl's friendship and privately lament lacking it. She is a noble, naive Earth prince, meaning Kanaya will if necessary protect her.
♥♥♦♦✔✔	Asuka Soryu is currently in the running for Kanaya's best cross-canon friend, and after over half a sweep she's finally a relatively healthy person to fill the hole left behind by Vriska. (Healthy for Kanaya. Asuka herself isn't quite that healthy. If she were she wouldn't fill the hole left behind by Vriska.)
✔✔✔✔✔✔✔	Alice Liddell at 9 solar sweeps is Kanaya's closest non-agemate friend.
✔✔✔✔✔✔✔	Nepeta Leijon is the only other greenblooded seven-sweep-old in existence who knows that it's hard. Being a CRAU, and growing up. It's hard and nobody understands.
✔✔✔✔✔	Feferi Peixes is Kanaya's #3 source of blood. Though she and Kanaya are good friends, their mutual but unshared experience in jamjars has caused a strong sense of not quite picking up where they left off.
✔✔✔✔✔	Equius Zahhak was Kanaya's server player. He's grown somewhat comfortable with Earth.
✔✔✔✔♥	Sayaka Miki is a rather exciting magical human girl who's befriended Kanaya.
✔✔✔✔	Kido Tsubomi is the enigmatic, charismatic leader of the Mekakushi Dan. The blindfold brigade has provided Kanaya with hope and purpose aside from the unreliable, transport-maligned Initiative. Independently of all this she's a friendly greenhaired girl whom Kanaya just likes in a wholesome manner.
✔✔✔	Kano Shuuya - to some extent he's an extension of Kido in Kanaya's mind (and she ships them), as the subordinate member of the Mekakushi Dan she heads, but they've spoken independently enough that she also considers him a pal in his own right. A loveable goofball. She has no idea thus far that he's a pathological liar.
✔✔✔✔	Jade Harley became quick friends with Kanaya on her arrival much like they did over the course of their long first conversation in canon, though before this Kanaya had essentially no memories of her. Not long later, however, she left. This was the first time Kanaya had lost one of her canonmates in Exsilium, and so it was a somewhat harsh blow.
✔✔✔✔	Tenel Ka Djo was Kanaya's second roommate after Utena. A somewhat distant young woman from outer space with a missing arm, she and Kanaya were well-placed to befriend each other slowly. Her disappearance was a very harsh blow, as Kanaya had not at that point known that vanishment without warning could take place in Exsilium.
✔✔✔	Lelouch Lamperouge was one of the only human boys Kanaya particularly befriended in Exsilium, and they were willing to help each other with the Initiative. Dropped and replaced; new version not yet met.
✔✔✔	Dave Strider has given her two separate good impressions but was not around long enough to solidify either of them very much. As he's a Time hero, this is less dissonant than it could be, and Kanaya continues to like him in theory.
✔♦♦♥♥	"Haruka Takahashi" is a "typical girl" who knows "there's no such thing". She has half the physical and twice the psychological perceptive ability of the typical Transport. She was "with someone" before "joining" the Initiative. This is really disappointing. You know, that she doesn't consider herself a member of the Initiative.
♦✘♦✘♦✘♦✘	Eridan Ampora was Kanaya's dearly beloved ashen ex-boyfriend, but that was two timelines ago. In Exsilium and the alpha timeline, he manifested his true nature as an unstable highblood to the point that her counterpart killed him. The guilt she harbors for "her" actions and the danger he poses combined to form a hidden, unrequited, deep, shameful pale infatuation... one imperiled by the revelation that his actual capital crime was destruction of the matriorb, for which he felt absolutely no remorse.
♠♦♣♦♥	Rose Lalonde has always fascinated Kanaya, but in Exsilium, she remembers two years of friendship that Kanaya does not, and this gap is difficult to bridge. Unlike her relative Roxy, she had to be forced to promise no information about the Light Kanaya would rather avoid. They haven't hung out much since then.
♣♣♣♦♦	Anthy Himemiya is an extension of Utena Tenjou. Her canonmate, as soon as she arrived she made herself at home in not the room that Tenel Ka vacated but Utena's own respiteblock (and pretty much put any progress Kanaya had made on befriending Utena on hold). Kanaya can tell Utena and Anthy are in love with each other, but she's not sure how or if they know it themselves. What she is sure of is Anthy's capacity to hurt Utena - something she can't always stand by and watch.
✘♣	John Egbert is a Hero, technically, but hasn't particularly endeared himself to Kanaya.
✘	Aranea Serket was an undesired symbol of both the past and the future. Her appearance was very brief and rather confusing; Kanaya took no particular note of it when she disappeared.
✘✘♣	Davesprite is someone Kanaya likes less than Dave. Not out of any resentment of doomed alternates or copies; she's one herself and so is her best friend, after all. Daves can be different. Nonavian Daves have just made better impressions.
♠♠♠♣♣	Ms. Robin Hood is an attractive masked vigilante. The thing about her is that the things that make her attractive would make her a good kismesis, but Kanaya doesn't actually dislike her. Mostly the girl is just plain elusive, so any interaction they have is a treat.
✘✘✘✘✘♣	Katniss Everdeen "is" a heartless murderer who cannot be trusted (especially not to live with Karkat). However, this has gone so far that she has been threatened with being locked up, which Kanaya thinks is never justified.
✘✘✘ ✘✘✘ ✘✘✘	Gamzee Makara is the only Transport who shares Kanaya's past universe and is her #1 source of blood and best (hate)friend. They teamed up to kill a guy, then tried again but got killed for their trouble, then killed each other. He is essentially her co-orphaned brother. Their dynamic comes off to unfamiliar trolls as vacillation between moirallegiance and kismesissitude. It's neither, to their mutual lament. They just stick around each other from sheer force of habit at this point rather than any sort of attraction.
