Susan is still Susan at 24 and has... not changed at all, physically. She's settled into the appearance she'll have for the next however many years of her life she'll be around and has a sort of nebulous ageless feel to her. Since she's got all her canon powers back, she's pretty ridiculously OP; in addition to her opening doors and finding people shtick and making herself unseen to anybody who isn't a child or a wizard, she can stop time, coerce people into speaking the truth and obeying commands, and walk through things. Thankfully for everyone involved, Susan generally dislikes using her powers save when necessary (vanishing from sight to take ten minutes to have a cup of tea without being bothered is totally necessary). Also if the mods feel like any of this needs to be nerfed still, go for it.

Personality-wise, Susan hasn't changed all the much, either. She's less of a mothering type than she is the strict schoolmistress, still, and she'll treat the group a bit like she treats her classes. This is mostly to mask the fact that she's grown fairly fond of most of them under a guise of being responsible for their wellbeing and making sure they have their shoelaces tied properly and so on and so forth. She's as acerbic and dry as always and has no patience for anything being done inefficiently (unless, of course, it's amusing). While horrified by Susan fan material at first, she'll have learned to weaponize some of it by cutting out stock Susan expressions out of the T-shirts/calendars/whatever they find and calmly pasting her face to people's walls whenever they do anything that deserves said expression. It saves her from accumulating wrinkles.

In terms of missions, Susan is ready to do most things after shooting off a quip or two, but she's generally on the go. She's probably not terribly pleased about Stiles, Gundam, and Kaoru being the trio that managed to insert themselves into the latest incarnation of the game and will be in a terrifically foul mood whenever she sees that he's been shot and killed.

She probably gets along best with Stiles and May, and will have decent relationships with most of the younger folks. Gundam and Sonia she'll be very fond of and will continue to tease endlessly in her half-serious manner, Beat she'll try desperately to edumacate for a while before she decides to maybe set her sights a little lower. Kanaya can continue learning about the Black Ribboners if she wants to. Annie, Spain, and Kaoru will never be her favorite people, but she's (already) warmed a little to the first two and Kaoru will be tolerated because everyone else believes in him and so on and so forth. Of the countries, she probably respects Lithuania the most and if relationships in previous games are any indication, Ukraine will perhaps eventually befriend her. Poland receives the honor of being on the receiving end of most of her best quips, but he can take it.

At some point in time, Susan totally regained Binky and he and Lithium will happily frolic together. ...OK maybe that can't happen but whatever they're cute horse friends >=(

Lithuania is definitely super glad for Susan's existence and rationality and Susan-ness. In return for her being a wondrous, shining spot of sanity, Lithuania will try to help with keeping the others from doing too many stupid things.

it's sad when the beacons of sanity are the plague-ghost country and the one related to an anthropomorphic personification of death

but Susan will appreciate the sanity as well

Probably she'll stop caring about keeping the secret that she's part-Death at some point too and start telling stories about what ridiculous existence she has in Ankh-Morpork.

Susan will actually appreciate not being put on a pedestal she usually enjoys it when people do because then they don't bother her as much but when stuck with the same 20 people for three years it will get kind of old pretty quickly.

Susan's sixteen layers of sensibility are most easily broken through by innocent young children, but generally with adults the other person has to try pretty hard before Susan will be anywhere close to being a normal human friend rather than her normal Susany self so the breakthrough may not happen. She'll always be fairly pleasant to Kanaya, though, since she knows Being Different is Hard.

Teenagers are just adults who make extra stupid decisions pretty much only May gets to be babied and even then not that much

But yes that sounds good!

i'm laughing really hard because kaoru gained like +100 appreciation points for susan while he was gone. AND SO YOU KNOW he actually volunteered for position as the mole to keep other people from having to go through the game again so she would have already known about that part!

ANYWAY susan isn't the person he's closest to at all but i think he'd have grown to respect her over the years. he never had much of a strong personal opinion on her during MM1 beyond "dangerous obstacle" but i think being on the same side and seeing what she could do to further their cause would have generally put him in the mindset of a positive opinion! AND YEAH LIKE I SAID +100 appreciation for susan when he gets back... because he really missed her sensible sour face and her dry wit god susan he had to sit through potato races he was suffering. i don't think he'd consider her a friend necessarily, but he'd still risk himself for her safety because he's extremely loyal to the group on a whole and he'd probably do what he could if she ever asked for anything like med training or sword training or learning japanese or w/e.

She'll be somewhat more OK with that line of reasoning but she'll still be like 'who let those three dorks do this themselves' and use her magical B.S. powers to check that they're still alive every twenty seconds

Susan will probably recognize that Kaoru has grown to be less of a jerk but some part of her will always resent the whole May situation. I think her appreciation of Kaoru will depend a lot on the degree to which May can recover from what he did. That said it's not like she's petty or anything (ok no she is, but not with this) so he'll just be treated more or less normally after a while and he can learn ridiculous Discworld things if he wants to...

FAIR TBH i mean they do all kind of need babysitters and they are so far away from the best babysitter in town..... three of the people who most need child leashes just wandering off into the wild beyond...

but yes good he'd be totally interested in learning about things like that! ALL THESE NEAT WORLDS and he got stuck with fantastical racism ye olde japan, gosh. if nothing else he is a very good student and quick learner, so that will at least be slightly less of a headache for susan.

I have nothing to contribute except that while Miss Alice becomes Alice, Miss Ukraine becomes Ukraine, etc... Susan will always be Miss Susan to Spain.

Rapture will still complete look toward Susan's guidance in leadership and control because she desperately needs it the more she gets involved with this resistance and bringing the game down.

Sorry Susan, you're Riot 2.0 :(

Ooh Rapture I forgot to talk about Rapture Susan was just so incredibly suspicious of the whole 'sadism without remorse' thing but at the end she had actually warmed to Rapture a lot. They're not going to be like best friends but I think they'll do the whole friendly witty banter thing pretty well.

Yes absolutely, they would have completely warmed up to each other's snarkiness and enjoy each other's company without ever openly admitting it.
