[Giving Rapture a sympathetic glance. "Sincerely excited" is not exactly the most common look for her and Kanaya knows that feeling.]

Probably not. There's a preponderance of teenagers again.

[Headtilt - she hadn't made that connection at first regarding Iceland and Austria at the like... but she looks back at them and that makes more sense.]

The countries were always really accessible for them. That they're here in bulk again makes sense.

[ The couldn't even get a Hologram as someone from her world? Rapture sighs, unwilling to fight the inevitable. ]

Do you think they'll make one of them the 'Mastermind' again?

Probably. They seem to have the same number of players, I'd guess said individual would even have five subordinates.

I meant one of them. [ She motions to Iceland and Austria. ] You don't think they'd go down that same route, do you? It would be so... mundane.

[ Her voice lacks the usual fervor it carries when she says something like that though. The emphasis is the same, but the meaning behind it is completely different. For obvious reasons. ]

[She shakes her head.] Probably not. They should at least go to the effort of inventing a new motivat...

[Then a wild Kagamine sighting occurs and her mouth just stops working.]

[ Rapture looks at Kanaya strangely for a moment, before she turns to see what she's looking at... and she's just as surprised as she is. ]

Is that— [ Her expression turns into confusion. ] How can that be?

It's her for sure. Look at her model mark. This must be one of her backup bodies. As I recall that was the idea behind lugging her lifeless corpse on the road with us instead of selecting her soul from the theater.

It may look and act like her, but is it really her? A copycat's one thing...

It's probably not her in the trut sense. Unless the producers had some concealed means of backing up her memory as it was in the theater, which I'll admit Felicia had no incentive to disclose, but that seems impossible. Even the laptop with the week four backup wouldn't be available. At any rate the guests' collective mumbling about not remembering how they got there suggests they recycled the amnesia conceit. A fresh copy would probably be the easiest for them.

Huh. [ She crosses arm arms and sits back thoughtfully. ] She was planning on doing a double murder wasn't she? Maybe they want a performer who could also be a killer, because they found out it didn't work with me. So they brought back someone who they thought might do it.

[ There's a sense of smugness in her voice. Not all is lost. ]

They have to force the proceedings into the realm of dramatic somehow. Do recall how altruistic the motivations came after about week five. They might as well-- [Mid-sentence, she sees Eridan talking to Rin, and her words suddenly gain a sharp biting irony.] Get together everyone I've ever killed without any memory of it so they can end up in another wrong place!!!

[ Rapture blinks at her slowly before looking at the screen, then back to Kanaya. She's recalled her mentioning other trolls and the nature of Alternia, but she's not particularly close enough to realize who this specific troll is. It's hard to really keep up with everyone's history when they're trying to form a coalition against the people that's put them here in the first place. ]

[She puts the heels of yer hands over her eyes and tries to state the facts in a professional fashion.]

His name is Eridan. I used to be his friend. Then he blew up my spiky ball and tried to do the same thing to me. But I survived and became a vampire. Then I killed him.

I don't think he remembers any of that considering he's in one piece and... his clothes. I can tell from his clothes. I remember what he wore, when.

You would have had an interesting rapport but there's no way he won't crack at one of the motives. He would have seriously considered the offer made during the final week of our game.

[She's more bitter than outright contemptuous. Time for a subject change; Los Angelsland or something, they were all together in Hollywood... right???]

At this rate I'm just waiting for the next lawyer to be Jen's defense attorney.

[ Wow this is some soap opera. Better than watching a love quadrangle take place. Rapture's about to say something about it, when Kanaya changes the subject. Oh well, maybe later. It's not like they don't have all the time in the world. ]

Jen? [ She looks at her with furrowed eyebrows. ] Who's J— Oh you mean, Jem.

[ Her expression changes into a smirk. ] That'd be a shame. Jem and the Holograms are as mundane as oatmeal, their lawyer would have to be the same way.
